Bunyip of Australia: Monsters of the World
Like most, if not all, mythological creatures, there are various interpretations of its physical appearance of the bunyip from Australia. But there seems to be some common elements: a dog-like face, a tail, and tusks. The bunyip is a carnivorous lake monster that devours its victims. Legend says it has a taste for women and children. Don’t they all? Luckily, it supposedly howls before it attacks, so you may just have a bit of warning before you are consumed!
