Mark Twain on Education
There’s a mural of famous writers on one of the bookstores that we sometimes visit. My 7yo loves that mural, and constantly asks who the writers are, and if we’d read any of the books they’d written. And we have, for quite a number of them (Melville, Shelley, Dickens, etc) albeit the children’s versions. A few months ago, my son and I finished listening to the audiobook of Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, so I thought I’d draw him a picture of Mark Twain. I’ve already done a Dickens one for him.
I may not be creating a mural, but I’m giving him his own little collection of drawings of famous people. And he likes them.
